I went on a shopping spree to gather a few products since spring is just around the corner. I always gravitate towards a drugstore whenever I have limited money; a lot of brands like Bourjois, Rimmel, Maybelline, L’Oréal recently came out with a bunch of new products, and I wanted to try all of them. However, I made a hole in my pocket by spending most of my money, so I decided to drop the subject for a few days, and came back with 15 new products. Winter season calls for bold and glamorous looks, whereas, spring is all about minimal makeup with a pop of color. When it comes to the selection of lipsticks, I always grab the ones that are dark and bold, but I recently came across the fact that this year’s spring season is all about ‘candy red’ lipsticks. I want my lipsticks to be on the vampy side, and I never wear anything that has a hint of orange. However, for the sake of this spring season, I decided to transform myself into a natural beauty by adopting the idea of keeping my face simple, and adding a bit of color to my eyes and lips.

Anyway, let’s proceed – I recommend cleaning your face 4 times a day, I say this because I’ve been struggling with mild acne since a few months, and I decided to consult a dermatologist to prevent any further damage. My dermatologist asked me to wash my face 4 times a day as I’m a makeup fanatic; I experiment with makeup whenever I’m free. The point is that you need to take care of your skin if you’re wearing makeup on a daily basis. The products that I’ve mentioned in this particular article are light and won’t cause you any pain. I’ve tested each and every product myself, and all of these are perfect for those who sweat too much like me. There’s no point of investing in makeup when you’re not taking care of your skin, and it’s full of zits and blemishes; I’ve seen girls who buy a lot of expensive high-end concealers just because they’re not comfortable in showing their natural skin. Makeup can enhance your beauty, but it cannot make you look like a porcelain doll. Learn to embrace your flaws, I firmly believe that there’s no such thing as ‘perfection’.Face-wash

I came across a brand called Duvi Stockholm, which is a Sweden based company. I got addicted to their ‘Green Tea Facewash’ as it is organic and made of natural ingredients. If you are into organic face products, then I’d recommend you to give it a go. Furthermore, I’ve been using Neutrogena’s oil-free acne face wash to cure my acne, and I sometimes feel the need to call it a magic potion, because it actually works.

I have an aversion to peach, pink and nude lipsticks. But, I vowed to myself that I would try new colors this season, so I wore this ‘Only 1’ lipstick by Rimmel London Arabia in shade ‘Peachy Beachy’ to a party; I was amazed to see the fact that a lot of people complimented me. I didn’t recoil from it even though it’s not a matte formula; I’ve been neglecting all sorts of satin finishes ever since I got my hands on a matte lipstick. Furthermore, it smells divine, and comes in several different colors for you to choose from.

Inglot is famous for their ‘AMC gel eyeliners’; I recently got one in number ‘77’, which is known to be the blackest black of all. I’m not in favor of doing eye makeup when the rest of your look is exceptionally simple. However, I see no harm in wearing a winged eyeliner. You can go for a natural looking eye shadow like ‘Originale’ by Bourjois, if you cannot live without a pop of color. I’ve seen a lot of girls who wear unique colors like parrot green, turquoise, sea blue and etc. in spring and summer season; you can certainly experiment with whatever color you like as makeup has no boundaries.

I wear all sorts of nail polishes, and I usually buy the ones that are funky and bold. Have you ever tried nude nail polishes? They look really good on all skin tones, and I’ve tried quite a few myself. I went out to grab a few colors like green and pastel pink, but ended up purchasing a color called ‘Tiramisufor Two’ by OPI. I love OPI and Sally Hansen, I think both of these brands are two of the best manufacturers of nail polishes. ‘Patrick Starr’recently collaborated with Formula X and came out with 3 different nail polishes; I wanted to grab all three of them, but unfortunately, they were out of stock.

The next product that I came across is from Bourjois. They recently came out with a new collection called ‘City Radiance’ and I got the opportunity to try a few of their foundations before the official launch. The one I own is in shade ‘01 Rose Ivory’, and it’s more like a bb cream in my opinion. I’ve been using a BB cream by ‘The Body Shop ‘since forever, but it took me 2 minutes to ditch it for this product. You ought to give it a shot if you’re looking for something as light as a BB cream. I was pleased to see the fact that it has an SPF of 30; it’s most assuredly a plus point if you work outdoors.

I loathe false lashes, and I try my best to enhance the look of my natural lashes. Dior-show mascara is one of the best mascaras I have ever tried; I’m well aware of the fact that it’s quite expensive, but we have a lot of options from drugstore brands that we can go for. The formula of Bourjois Volume Clubbing mascara is a bit dry, but almost similar to the Dior one.

Bourjoise Diorshow

The last thing that I picked from Bourjois is a natural looking blush in shade ‘74 Rose Ambre’. I am pleased to announce the fact that they’ve revamped their packaging; all of their eye shadows and blushers come in small pots. I really like the fact that all of their products are highly pigmented and easy to use. I loathe false lashes, and I try my best to enhance the look of my natural lashes. All of these products can enhance your look, but make sure you take care of your skin for a longtime effect. Write to me on the following email address if you need any more information on how I’m dealing with my acne:- impatientpersonblog@gmail.com
